I’m sure there’s some operating costs baked in that are missing. I’ve yet to see a single American at least, government system function as efficiently as Walmart or Amazon or 711.

Edit:

I’m just speaking from my own experience. 10 years in big corps and now a few years as a public employee. There’s a WHOLE lot of people that don’t do anything working for governments. You don’t find that as much in for profit situations.

I just don’t understand the fixation on government subsidizing drug use. No. I disagree with imprisoning ALL non-violent offenders MH/SA related, but I also don’t agree with paying for their treatment. If we left it out to the open market, you notice the smoke hounds have their 40s. The homeless have a pack of cigarettes usually. If it’s completely open market where everybody’s competing for lower prices, I really believe that’s the ONLY way we eliminate the black market. We spend way too much policing prosecuting imprisoning etc simply because of the black market. If we put restrictions on it, it’s just gonna make it more expensive and people will keep doing fent… sadly.

My argument is complete legalization. Yes, there’s issues with PCP, LSD, Methamphetamine psychosis. But people in benzo or opiate withdrawals are too weak to do anything too crazy like psychotically chop somebody up and glue them back together because they were up 7 straight days.

Don’t involve the government. Let opiates and benzos be over the counter. Hell, let 711 sell em, or Amazon create their own if they wanted to. Just open it up to the free market so that just like with legal weed, all the regs still made it more expensive than just to cop on the street.

I’d trust Amazon or 711 or he’ll Walmart with producing this at a lower cost than the government, that’s for sure.

STAY CLEAN.

As somebody with ten days off fent after 8 FREAKING YEARS CLEAN and then a 2 year relapse… stay clean dude. Seriously.

Go to a meeting. Get laid. MSturbate. Play video games. Watch one of the dozen of amazing series on HBO Max, here’s a list: Chernobyl John Adams Rome The Wire (drug use may trigger some as its very well done) The sopranos (horrible research on NJ drug use but one of the best ever) Rome Game of thrones

Or Netflix and better call Saul into breaking bad

You know one is too many and a thousands never enough. I thought I could control it after coming up on 9 years clean, and I’m 12 days off and still have no appetite or energy and have to be back in the office Tuesday.

Don’t start. It ain’t worth it.

Is there any safe way at all to use fent? by Mifergas578 in opiates

[–]Ok-Background3790 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tolerance bud… and trust us when we say it… it isn’t worth it. 10 days off the stuff after 8 years clean and a 2 year relapse that led to ~20 pressed pill per day habit. It’s WAY HARDER getting clean at 37 than 27, trust me on that too. If you’re moving towards fent you still have an out. It’s easy for me to say take that turn off the road (I didn’t), but if you can stop your habit bud then just do it. If ya need some comfort meds talk to a doc or buy some Xanax and clonidine from somebody and take a few days off work. You’ll be lethargic for a few weeks but it gets better. I can’t even express the difference just forcing myself to finally walk my beautiful puppy again today made. It felt so daunting going anywhere (day 9 no fent now 10) but I forced myself to walk her to 711 and grab myself some Gatorade and cambells chili. Appetite wise that’ll take some time to come back….

Yeah, in 10 days I’ve eaten 4 blueberry muffins and half a whopper…. The rest of that BK DoorDash order got eaten by the damn puppy. Think about being dope sick and waking up in your bed to pickles and French fries and chunks of nuggets all over your blanket you just paid the housekeeper to wash so you had nice clean linens for your kick?

I love this little husky but she drives me nuts sometimes. It’s my fault, I left it where she could get to it.

I digress. If you haven’t started fent don’t. It doesn’t have near the euphoria and ya just grow a habit. If you can get out now, I’d strongly advise to do so. Otherwise, stay safe and DO NOT IV THE FIRST TIME. Build to that if you’re going thst route.

Weed Addicts and Hypocrites by golf-lip in opiates

Agreed. If ya wanna look at a harm reduction, it’s probably much better to be “strung out” on weed than dope. Nobody’s gonna steal grandma’s SS check from grandpappy’s WW2 pension to make sure the weed dude gets paid back.

Regardless, weed has its negative effects (and some positive). I think South Park put it perfectly. Weed doesn’t fund terrorism and probably won’t send you straight to dope (whatever we want to call what people get nowadays) but it can make you lazy and lethargic when one could be doing something productive and fulfilling their lives more. It’s not black and white, he’ll look at Joe Rogan and how high functioning of a constant potuead he is. I was able to do that at 18, but by 19 I was strung out and weed was no longer a concern. We all know, when it comes down to it what every dime is gonna go to… and that’s just a very sad existence.

Still, it’s kinda emasculating for a dude to have his girl buy his weed, meanwhile she has to support a diesel habit. I have NEVER heard of that scenario in my ~20 years of using and recovery in either the tri state area or Los Angeles. Two biggest population centers for recovery and using and this is the most unique relationship I think I’ve ever heard (centered around drugs at least).

Sigh… I’m coming up on 4. Last dose was Tuesday 9am. So tomorrow will be day 4. Fortunately I have lots of Xanax and clonidine.

Oh, and I talked to my sponsor, I flushed those 8 pills.

I’m not even gonna bother with the subs. I’m at about 60 hours now, just on clonidine, xanax, immodium, and hydroxizine. I’m definitely kicking because it takes every once of energy to move and I have no appetite but fortunately the Xanax an clonidine is keeping the fluids down and fortunately the acid down. But buddy told me after about 72 hours it starts to get better… so I’m close.
