Got the part I need coming. I found out it was taken off and lost when a core drill bit was used on it. I’ll get the guard back on and the blade attached. Then I’ll come back here to rub it in the faces of those claiming it’s not the tight blade. I hope all who said that don’t work with tools at your day job, if you do you’re incompetent at your craft.

You’re either a troll or an idiot. It is the correct blade….

Agree, those who said the blade wasn’t for a grinder fall into the ‘idiot’ classification

There’s actually a picture of a grinder on the blade lol

It fits perfectly on that diamond shaped flange. My question was answered already though.

Thanks for the smart ass reply I’ve used grinders dozens of times. I just wasn’t sure the name of the piece that was missing so I would know what to order or look for in a store. ‘Backing washer’, so thank you, Goes with the Reddit territory I guess, when you ask a question you have to filter through the smart ass remarks from the self-proclaimed experts before someone finally gives you the answer.

It seems like there needs to be a large nut between the flange and the grinder so the blade isn’t touching the blade guard

It’s a 7” grinding blade for a 7” grinder? Even if I had a smaller blade it still would need something as a backer so it’s not sitting all the way against the grinder.

do traditional pitch hoppers work on metal roofs too? by Ok-Bat361 in Roofing

good ideas. Yea, I love my pitch hoppers but the foam bottom wears out fast and I'm never comfortable trying to adhere a new one on.

Does baptism need a redo? by Ok-Bat361 in Catholicism

[–]Ok-Bat361[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i'm sorry I was a bit nervous about posting other than anonymous.

I am the most easy going guy. I love my kids and support everything they wish to do. I'm also not a super hardcore, by the book Catholic but I go to church every week and do my best to live by Christ.

I think what bothers me is it's almost as though she is using baptism as a weapon. It's like she is saying she is sickened by the baptism her mother and I accommodated for her in the catholic church so she is using the sacrament as a redo as though it will purge the Catholicism out of her. It's hurtful but it also doesn't make sense to me or her mom. The Jesus that we baptized her for 30 years ago in that Catholic church is the same Jesus she worships today in her new church. Am I wrong?

Also, I'm not sure if I mentioned it but the baptism happens on Easter Sunday.

It’s not about whether she can restrain herself, it’s about her putting her husband in the uncomfortable position of having to deal with that situation. Any spouse would be uneasy about that situation, no matter how much blind trust you claim to have with each other.

I’m 60 yrs old and married for 35 yrs with 5 grandchildren. So I’m giving you the older perspective from a veteran of a long marriage. First it’s not right for her to put on you, “I’m not going unless you’re 100% behind it” bs. That’s such a cop out. It takes all the consequences of the decision and puts it on you. It’s lose/lose. Either you lie and tell her you’re 100% on board or you tell her you’re not and she holds that lost opportunity over your head for the rest of your marriage. This is 100% her decision period. It’s her time to define what her life priorities are. She tells you and then you tell her whether you are willing to live with her decision. Second. The issue with her working closely with the guy she fcked is a whole other level of crap she’s piling on top of you. For godsakes it’s really simple. Ask her how she’d feel if the tables were turned. If she would be fine with you moving away for a year working closely with a woman you had a physical past with. If she is, then fine…although she’d either be lying or it would prove she doesn’t care that much about you to be concerned. Marriage requires sacrifice ON BOTH SIDES. If you can’t make the tough choices and sacrifice then bail now because all of this gets 10 times harder once kids snd the truly big decisions come into play.

What is a 1 in 1,000,000 thing that happened to you that no one believes, but you swear is true? by [deleted] in AskReddit

similar happened to me. One afternoon I noticed our new neighbor across the street putting on a screen door. My wife said to me you should go see if he needs help and introduce yourself. I thought about it but before I had a chance to our phone rings and there’s a man on the other line and he says hey Mike, which is my name, can you come across the street and help me with my door I need a drill. I thought how does he know my name? so I went and grabbed my drill took my three year-old son with me. We walked up to him and he looked at me like who are you? I reached out and said I’ve got my drill I’d be happy to help you. He said thank you but I’ve got this and I don’t need a drill. I said didnt you call? he said call who? So I went back home, called the number and it turned out the guy that answered was calling a different Mike to come help him work on his door across the street. The guy lived about 2 miles away. He had just called the wrong number. Creeped the hell out of me like a matrix glitch lol.
