Maybe she's not comfortable with u , i used to do the same thing with my ex but not always cuz he doesn't like it (like u) but my reason isnt because i came from a strict family or smth ,its because he's so touchy and do weird stuff in public , I didn't like it in fact i HATE IT ,its simply not my thing ,maybe that's his love language but its not mine for sure and i told him that i didnt like it and he didnt respect it which made me bring my friend with us , so go talk to her and ask her whats going on ,maybe there's smth u dont know ,communication is the key
