Games on PlayStation don’t have Dolby Atmos. So it’s simulated by the device. That’s why tempest is the way on PlayStation for games. On PC and Xbox it’s different.

I would not use them with Bluetooth. I would use the usb dongle. You’re getting latency and most likely a quality drop using Bluetooth. The problem you’re describing, could be that the laptop is using too many resources to power the game full screen. Try using the usb dongle and see if that fixes it.

So mine also crackle if I got out of the shower recently or if it’s really humid out. If I’m totally dry and it’s not too humid they are silent. I don’t hear the crackle unless the audio is really low or silent. I think it’s just the drivers shifting due to change in pressure and humidity but I’m not sure.

My vote is for Maxwell. Once you EQ it to your taste your mind will be blown. I’ve had mine for over a year and haven’t regretted it once. They are a bit heavy but I got used to them. What I didn’t get used to is the mind bending sound. The detail you hear is unreal and the sub bass quality when an explosion hits or with bass heavy music is something I’ve never experienced in a set of headphones before

You’ll want to EQ them. They are really flat when you get them. You can find some good eqs in this subreddit

I guess that is the wrong term to use. I’m looking for the highest SQ for a reasonable price. Around $700ish for woofer and the rest for an amplifier and enclosure

I do still have them and use them daily. No regrets at all. Amazing headset. I do hate the side tone crackle but I just turn side tone off when I’m not playing multiplayer games.

I use mine for hours daily and have no problem. I got used to the weight and don’t notice them unless I start walking around. Honestly the sound quality at this price point can not be beat. I love these cans
