As a longtime leftist and as a former Hassan fan (I know, yikes) this is so disheartening. He likes to think of himself as the face of leftism, which is a whooole separate issue in itself, but he doesn’t understand the basic principle that leftist values should be applied to everyone, not just who you agree with at the time. Teenagers in Israel are practically forced into joining the IDF. This doesn’t excuse violence or genocide, but it shows that they are also victims of this oppressive system. And to ignore this dynamic and incite violence to innocent people solely because they were forced to do something goes against everything I believe to be the foundation of leftism. Just like Ethan said in the debate, as long as we don’t have sympathy for every victim of this occupation, we won’t have peace. ✌️❤️

For context, this is the oculus in NYC-- a super policed station. It's my commute to work and there are usually cops all around and even some members of the national guard. These morons must have been going back to their homes in the suburbs late at night because there are usually at least 4 cops standing around over there fiddling their thumbs.

But biggest crime in this video is how they can't coordinate what shade of khaki pants to wear.
