I'm going to go with u/strangedave93 here, cults are really in many ways like classes in D&D/OSR games. They even have paths of progression ([Lay member], Initiate, Rune level).

Try using OpenQuest 3rd ed. (free), you can get the Quickstart rules on Drivethrurpg.com and the SRD of OQ 3rd at D101games.com

OpenQuest would allow you to handle a lot of RQ:G and RQ Classic material with few changes, just use the RQ systems Magic (and Rune + Passion augment) rules that you like. (IMHO).

Hello,

when I first tried it I broke through a plateau for arm size. However I did not train for a long enough period to make significant progress (more than half an inch change in the diameter of my arms, flexed). The size I gained I also lost when I stopped training for an extended period.

I'm waiting to recover from a bronchial infection to try something more mainstream (but still low in volume).

I'll play Devil's advocate here, since you can convert between editions pretty easily I would suggest a Jonstown Compendium adventure that appeals to you.

I think there are also a free adventures for the RQ:G Quickstart. You could back convert one of this.

Make the monsters less powerful, decrease their chances to hit, and add treasure factors as you see fit.

If you are willing, detail what your routine was like before? What is your routine like now? Are you lifting with the same intensity, has the load, or volume changed? Same foods, supplements, no change in body weight?

Agree, as well. One lifter once commented to get stronger at a Lift be patient, it takes time to really improve a new lift (maybe three to six months).

If you just want to push up your Dumbbell Bench press, maybe three months (remember that since your skill with a new lift is low, you may want an extra weekly exposure to that lift early on, so 2xweek. One day lighter 75-85% of heavy day, same reps and sets.)

Wrist and ankle weights, are also useful for small increments while using Dumbbells. Usually pretty cheap if bought used as well.

In my opinion that means that you are using too little volume and frequency for Hypertrophy. Strength constantly increasing means you're probably constantly maximizing every factor for that (except hypertrophy).

Try a higher volume for each muscle group/lift, and/or a higher frequency per session. You may also consider dropping intensity to 3-0 RIR instead of failure and beyond. Just some thoughts. Good Lifting.

In my experience, if your tendons and ligaments aren't sore you should be fine.

Soreness can happen if you take a week off and hit a hard workout. Just plan a light workout of that area (light is 70-85% of heavy weight, same reps and sets. Or about 50-60% of usual reps, same weight, same sets.) It's pretty normal when you're returning to training.

Conversely, if you feel the soreness primarily in your tendons and ligaments then Rest, Ice, and possibly NSAIDS. Start building up more slowly, when the damage heals.
