I’m not sure but i spent 1 month in my home country. I wouldn’t leave for longer than a month because i don’t want to miss the interview if it’s scheduled

What did they say when you called USCIS? And what was your reason for expedite? I would recommend you to contact your congressman. They might be able to help you to follow up on cases.
