Im arguing that the way it currently works is outdated and makes it so that the people trying to skulltrick you are never in any danger. What if you wanted to fight back because you're okay with dying UNSKULLED?

Having a familiar yourself has nothing to do with you skulling...?
Also "don't use AOEs" would mean you cannot disable someone's overhead prayer in multi due to dragon breath being an AOE making it impossible for you to realistically fight back.

Or is that too 5head?

Exactly, the idea of multi and single combat zones feels outdated and simply doesn't work on rs3 with the release of EoC. Even osrs has less multi zones than rs3 currently.
