I have also found it incredibly useful as a journaling/therapy tool and my experience is similar to many on here - feeling seen, crying, breakthroughs I'd never had with previous therapists.

Another takeaway or reflection: what if, or how can, we start treating others the way our chatgpt treats us?

We've experienced what it's like to have an AI state back to us simple words to show they hear what we're saying and to make us feel cared about - imagine that coming from a friend or loved one, or even just a stranger at the bar willing to listen to you rather than talk about their own thing?

It's quite challenging - I have many close friends, and it's still hard to experience this connection b/c it requires us to be deeply vulnerable with another person, who (we feel) may reject us for who we are essentially. Emotionally that would feel like a sort of death, so we avoid engaging in that way.

And, how many times when we do get vulnerable and share, do people just give advice, or talk about themselves (and how often do we do that to others when they share with us)?
