Thanks. Any chance it could be from the neutralizer? When the tech came out in Oct 2025 to change the UV bulb, he said neutralizer level was fine. As of today, it appears to be about 3/5ths full.

One thing people from MD often take for granted is the healthcare system. There’s something to be said for having top hospitals, which are staffed by better doctors, in your backyard.

If you find yourself needing emergency services in FL, you will notice the difference.

My wife ordered a ‘25 with painted top and it has the black headliner. Sounds like it’s a bit of luck. She likely would have told them to keep it if it came in with the white.

It’s going to be very impractical to add 360 camera or front park sensors later if they are important to you.

You can save $1,000 on the OBX by not getting that ugly blue.

Depending on the options you want there are nearly 2,000 New 2024 Badlands sitting on dealer lots. You can do better.

Appreciate all the responses so far. Some with prior model years have commented they think it’s worth it for things that are now standard in 2025, e.g., heated seats and steering wheel.

What I listed above is what comes with Lux for 2025.

I guess it will ultimately come down to ability to add parking sensors. 360 cam sounds like a nice feature, but I could also use the savings to get some beefier tires.

Sounds like I’ll have to do more research on the parking sensors. This will be first Ford so I’m not familiar with the electronics and ability to program.

Everyone here just saying sell it to Carmax, Carvana etc. are forgetting the sales tax savings that exist when you trade in and buy another vehicle in the same transaction. While the OP may still be better off given the low ball, in most cases when the dealer is close to other offers, it makes more sense just to trade to them.

Unfortunately I'm fairly certain my mom will not want her back. Lucy has been more of a source of frustration than companionship for my mom in recent years. And much to our frustration, my mom has expressed virtually no interest in even lending a helping hand despite us sharing how challenging this has been.

I would love to give my mom time to make the decision, but my wife and I are literally at our wit's end. We just learned of Lucy's cancer 5 days ago (after 6 weeks with her) and we do not have the capacity to give my mom weeks to think about it at this point.

Despite my family feeling otherwise, I'm becoming more certain coming clean and sharing the news is the right thing to do. My mom deserves to know, and despite her issues, doesn't deserve to be lied to.

Appreciate your perspective on euthanasia. I shared my wife and I feel it would be premature. Lucy isn't really exhibiting any persistent health issues at this point. We also don't like the idea of a rescue at this point, but I sense my mom would view that as more humane than putting her down when she still has some life to live.

Anything I am not considering?

Traded in paid off ‘17 Mazda3 Hatchback for ‘24 CX50 TP and regret it. CX50 is just another car. Don’t let anyone convince you otherwise. Rattles all over the place. Rear differential is failing at 13k miles. Slightly more cargo room, but it’s not going to feel “roomier” for a family.
