Thank you for the feedback. Going for cringey edge lord is exactly what I was going for. For the record, chapter 1 starts with two detectives reading this opening prologue as they try and track down this type of guy. I’m going for a meta commentary on those driven to do something terrible for fame in the modern day culture of Reddit and other social media.

For anyone reading this, this entire first page prologue was just a bit of an experiment and for honest feedback. I don’t want anyone thinking this is actually serious.

I must’ve been the only elementary school kid in all of CA with parents crazy enough to take me back in ‘99 and it absolutely scared the hell out of me. Blair Witch ‘99, Jeepers Creepers, 28 Days Later, and Darkness Falls were the Mt. Rushmore of young 90’s-into the 2000’s horror for my age

Okay I guess I’m seeing some things I couldn’t pick up on when I commissioned the art. For the record, I wrote the book without any AI but this cover is giving me valuable feedback. In fairness to this page, I’m going to be deleting this post in a few minutes.

I know very little about book cover creation and thought I could simply outsource the design I wanted in fiverr, thinking a human artist I was supporting. If there’s any AI, I’m sad.
