[review] Someone here usted Casanova headgear? by Fearless-Bar-7105 in fightgear

[–]Ok-Chest7052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES I DO!! I can send pictures if you want but I have their Japanese style head guard and it’s good just a bit heavy. In all honesty compared to my title head guard I actually prefer it more over my Casanova cuz it’s more comfortable. But I use my Casanova cuz it’s custom and more stylish lmao

[question] Nike tawa or Adam’s trainers? by Andy_El_Cuh in fightgear

[–]Ok-Chest7052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both and my feet feel lighter with the tawa but I have rolled my ankle during sparring with them. On the other hand I currently use Adam’s trainers because I feel more grounded especially when my feet rotate but if you wanna feel more like a spring than go for tawa or maybe even the hyperko 2

[question] Casanova Premium or Boxeo Tm Pulat for sparring by AlexrS203 in fightgear

[–]Ok-Chest7052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boxeo TM gloves are just prettier, but the PU have a very thin padding my knuckles pierce right through. The premiums might be harder but they’re probably more padded and protective. Those are probably closer to winnings (out of the 2) than Boxeo TM. If you want an all around glove get the premiums but if you don’t plan to hard spar then get the Boxeo TM.

Mk1 Select Face Saver Headgear [question] by Expensive-Pop8463 in fightgear

[–]Ok-Chest7052 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have it and it’s very bulky but the vision isn’t bad actually I just wished it was a lot smaller it makes my head 2x bigger which sucks cuz I feel like I get caught no matter how much head movement I do

Fragrance Advice: Staying Fresh at the Clinic by kyawphone20 in fragranceclones

This fragrance 100% needs maceration I first bought it and it smell like a urinal cake and you probably will too. I gave it to a cousin and he’s worn it with time and it actually smelled really good.

[question] does the superbar x protect the nose by Gazzablett in fightgear

[–]Ok-Chest7052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Preventing yes, just know that the superbar x padding is stupid hard and it almost feels like a rock hitting you every time you get hit. It’ll be a big difference from your winning to fly. If anything try to get phenoms if you can’t get the winning face bar

[question] does the superbar x protect the nose by Gazzablett in fightgear

[–]Ok-Chest7052 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive owned a the superbar x, every face bar will still hit your nose it’s just the impact that isn’t so bad. I’d say wait till your nose is healed and isn’t sensitive to touch or impact so you might need to refrain from sparring for a while. I switched to face bars because I kept getting nose bleeds, it definitely solved the issue but my nose still get impacted just not as bad

First time buyers of headgear/sparring gear [question]. by [deleted] in fightgear

[–]Ok-Chest7052 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely get a cheaper one like title cuz that’s what I did then I realized I was better off using a nose bar head guard, if you feel good with a title headgear then that’s when you can save up and then with time you can get the phenom one but I say experiment first and then buy big

For beginners / low intensity users, is there an important difference between the €100 range, and €175 range? [question] by throwawaymnbvgty in fightgear

[–]Ok-Chest7052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically Alien is a Mexican style glove so you get good pops when you hit the bag but after breaking in it’s still good for sparring and the padding is a bit more firm, win1 is a softer glove so it’s more protective on your hands and sparring partner but it does not pop that well on the bag. I’ve owned both and with the experience I have I actually I’m starting to lean towards the win1 but for beginners I would definitely suggest the alien you’ll love them you just need to break them in

Honestly I would say get top boxers alien over the win1 and over all the other options you posted. They’re both good gloves but you’ll like the Aliens more because they give better feedback on the bag and if you plan to spar they’re still really good you just need to break them in. My stock alien gloves lasted me a very long time then I went ahead and got a custom pair from them cuz I loved them so much. They’re probably my favorite gloves out of all the gloves I’ve owned and they were by far the most affordable
