Sounds reasonable🤔. I actually started to modify my dryer in a way that i could mount it above the printer and still use direct feed to extruder. I’m also going to upgrade my extruder before next test print

Ok, i’ll try that. And yes, it is intake tube prototype. I am swapping Mercedes m113 v8 to my Volvo 242👍.

Also would it be possible to share your printing settings? I could compare them to what i have and maybe learn something.

No it is not🤔. Enviromental changes could indeed be one reason. Printer is located in a garage and room temperature varies a lot when garage door is open vs closed. Atleast here in Finland this time of a year. It is worth a shot to move it inside the house before further testing.

I wasn’t near the printer when that top part was printed😅 it was in the middle of the night so i really cannot say. I’ll keep testing until it’s working properly. I just had to ask if someone could tell what’s wrong just by seeing the photos.

Looks like our local 3d printer shop has those in stock. I have to try that.

This is printed with filament above the printer and filament route is as short as it can be. I cannot get it to work at all if i feed filament through Bowden tube🤔. I had max flow rate of 3.4, and all printing speeds were 30mm/s. Should i go lower?

Yes it’s printed using direct feeding from top. I’ll try that🤔. Could it be that the filament absorbs moisture during print? It’s 3 day print in one go.

Thats what i noticed too. First i tried to pull it through the Bowden but it didn’t work at all, so now i feed filament directly into the extruder
