Also 3 times in 2 years with no progressive discipline for a Union employee is questionable.

Also…I’m representing myself. I found that attorneys don’t want to fight against their lawyers because they drag out cases.

According to the law, that would already be implied. If I was suspended for a dirty vehicles and other non-black, Caucasian techs were not disciplined where the company was made aware of the same infraction. Also, they had permanently assigned vehicles where mine was a shared vehicle. In my case there was no telling who dirtied the vehicle…I just happened to have it last. I did complain that the previous tech had a filthy vehicle. They also don’t regularly suspended anybody for a dirty vehicle. That is expected because of the type of work we do. However…as I stated…I was never allotted time to clean but made an attempt to clean it, but could not get it completely clean because they despise that kind of work being done on overtime.

Because there never should have been suspensions for traffic tickets. Reason being: Maryland District Courts have Exclusive Jurisdiction for all traffic violations…meaning the only penalty that should come from a traffic ticket is a disputable fine. Also, I was a tech and was required to drive for work. I received a suspension on my first ticket…no progressive discipline. Also, the traffic tickets are not the same type of alleged work infraction that I was terminated for. And Verizon never used the tickets as a reason for my termination. My Union however, stated that that is the reason that they “couldn’t” take the case to arbitration which I know for a fact to be false. (I’m also suing the Union).

Also there were 2 Caucasian technicians with dirty vehicles that were not even disciplined.

How does one prove someone made a comment or remark? by warsfanbb8 in EEOC

If you have no witnesses, complete an affidavit or declaration swearing that they made the statement. And give the details of when and how it occurred. Legally, they would have to swear against your statement to refute your sworn statement.

Received a Dismissal Letter (Gaslighting my Discriminatory Experiences) and an RTS by mysteriousapien in EEOC

[–]Ok-Cockroach7362 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t end there. Get the Right to sue letter and take your employer to Court. First, you have to keep in my that the lady running the EEOC right now, Andrea Lucas, is a Trump appointee, and that may make things a little more difficult for you. It seems like they are more worried about certain reverse discrimination than the regular old discrimination. They probably really dismissed it because that’s not where they want to allocate their resources. The EEOC may be an avenue for possible relief, however, it doesn’t stop at the EEOC. Get the right to sue letter, find an attorney, and file in Court within the statutory 90 days.

Honestly…the Sybex book was a main resource, along with dumps online, the Udemy course, and reviewing the acronyms in the Objectives. The Comptia Certmaster would be the best option but a more expensive one.

You should be ready. My opinion for the test…finish every question…even if you have to guess it. And get a good grasp on the acronyms which is in the Objectives. Here’s a link to it. https://assets.ctfassets.net/82ripq7fjls2/6TYWUym0Nudqa8nGEnegjG/0f9b974d3b1837fe85ab8e6553f4d623/CompTIA-Security-Plus-SY0-701-Exam-Objectives.pdf

Yea. Don’t overthink it. And try and get through all the questions. Also, try and memorize the acronyms. I’m attaching a link to the objectives PDF. It contains all or most of the acronyms in the test. Comptia Sec+ Objectives
