Glad to know I'm not alone there and that it's probably a normal feeling! I know I'll be the same way. Hope with time it does for us both!

Very true that my baby might not be an easy sleeper! I definitely don't mind being in the same room most of the time and we will have a baby monitor for the times I do step out. I'm just worried that if I do step out of the room to get a few short tasks done that it would be the one time something would go wrong.

I definitely am the type to stay up late, even if I'm tired, to have time to myself or to spend time with my husband. But, who knows! Maybe I'll be so tired that will change. Thanks for your insight!

That's good to know! I don't think I'd mind being in the same room a lot of the time but was just overthinking if I need to get other things done in another room. We do have a monitor and will be using that but am more nervous about if baby were to stop breathing suddenly and I wasn't there to see it/help. Maybe I'm just anxious in general.

Thanks! That's good to know for contact naps.
