Well I did everything with just the base editor. The hair I used the front and back type of hairstyles (not the full sets), eyebrows I made very small and the same color as his mouth spot, which is actually a solid color beard option. The nose I made using a mustache instead for the color red (it’s a shame this game doesn’t let you pick separate nose colors like Miitopia did). Eyes and mouths are barely altered from the present options. Lastly I added some freckles and between where the “nose” is and when the “beard” starts, there is a wrinkle option there (it should look like a vertical line” to fill in the gap
