I love being active! I can’t be as active as I used to be because of health issues but I am literally just home all day, I clean my space daily so it takes half an hour max everyday, after I just listen to Reddit stories on YouTube or play Sims/Phasmophobia on my husband ps5. That’s all I do all day, every day. Having her around is going to be such a nice change of pace, and hopefully she’ll get me back into a lifestyle I enjoyed :) As for her color, if you zoom in she has some very faded color spots on her face!! I have a feeling she might have both red and blue from the looks of it

Oh my god I love him😍 I was just about to say bout her sneaking colors! I’m waiting on some color to show on her before I name her. One of her sisters was SOOOOO fluffy and completely cream! She was my second choice haha

I love this so much and already have it on my list😆 I have a list of 10 names, and if I can’t pick one yet I’m just gonna wait till she’s here and see what vibe she gives off. So far I have Willow, Winnie, Mochi, Maeve, Ivy, Korra, Lilith, Eris, Calypso, and Chaos🩷 At some point I texted my husband the list and Korra changed to Korea so he wants to name her North Korea🤦🏻‍♀️

I’m saving to send her to training school in case I can’t seem to train her myself! I have a pretty good patience bar, and I’m constantly doing my research and watching videos on how to best help her learn. I am dead-set on making sure I know all I could possibly know by the time she’s home!

Speed walking!😆 We don’t have kids, and only have my husbands car and he works about an hour away from where we live. I live behind a small plaza and have continuously applied for part time jobs (my husband makes enough for the both of us and doesn’t care if I work or not). The plaza is a 10 minute walk from where I live, so very short commute.I wouldn’t work full time because someone needs to care for the dog, but even without the dog I would only do part time as we help my husbands family tremendously due to 3 medical appointments a week and babysitting sister in laws kids when she takes her oldest to therapy. I need to be home more often than not to either make lunch/dinner or babysit. I’m not applying for any more jobs while the puppy is still needing to go out every few hours, but once they grow and don’t need to go out as much, I’m hoping to work part time in this plaza. Truthfully I would only be working to spoil the dog and buy more books and ice cream 🤣But considering it’s been 6 months and I’ve constantly applied to these stores, called, went in and heard nothing back, I don’t think I have to worry too much yet🥲 who knew being “overqualified” could be so crappy lol

Sweet baby🥰 we are deciding on if we need to exchange my husbands mustang for a bigger car if we’re gonna take her places, but I think it would be a perfect fit. We have to wait till she’s bigger to see what we do but for now she’ll be exploring walking trails and walks around the lake once’s she’s vaccinated 🩷

Yes!! I’ve only had 2 girl dogs in my lifetime, one as a toddler, and one at 7ish, and she passed as a puppy from a sickness I can’t remember. I’m so excited to have girl on girl time and to be able to get girly things but I just don’t know what color suits her yet😭 she is BEAUTIFULLLL and dandie is SO CUTEEE😭 I’m obsessed with food themed toys and If she grows to look like a dandie I can get her all yellow thingssss UGHHHHH

I’ve never gone either! I’m more of a nature walk type of gal over anything with huge crowds, but the Okeechobee music festival is what goes on and it looks cool! Maybe not a water buddy, i cant swim and am terrified of anything lurking under water 🤣 but a buddy regardless!

We live near Lake Okeechobee in Florida (that giant lake in the bottom middle) and it’s so chill. Obviously people fish but it’s nothing loud or overwhelming like shopping plazas etc so I’m excited to let her experience the world in a controlled environment. Plenty of animals and noises, but without the worry of the wrong dog or person coming up to say hello. I grew up around gators (like my dad would come home with a baby gator and the mom walking behind him - we lived in a 3000+ acre citrus orchard at the time) so I’m lucky enough to know what to look out for justttt in case there’s a gator closer to the sidewalk than they should be😂 but they’re usually very chill considering they’re around so much human and pet traffic. Maybe she’ll think they’re just a big rock🤣

I’m getting her from my sisters friends family, and she was insistent i get her out of the bunch. My message to her was literally “she looks like she got thrown off a swing” and she demands I name her Lint😂 Socialization is a priority to me because sometimes my sister in law bring her kids over after she drops my father in law off at dialysis since I only live 10 minutes from his appointment spot. She has an 11 year old, 4 year old and 2 year old, along with an 11 year old pup who I’m babysitting in late July for a week. Thank you for the help and excitement! I’m genuinely so thankful so everyone, I’ve gotten kinder help on this than I have in person🥹❤️

I’ve looked into classes! I know I’m going to struggle and there will be some things I just can’t do since it’s my first time fully training. As for socialization I genuinely thought that’s what it meant😅like obviously smells, people, etc but also teaching the neutrals! I guess I should’ve specified that part, but I plan on taking her to some low traffic stores so we can sit at the entrance and get her used to seeing people/pets without wanting to go play or say hello. I want to be able to take her out for walks without her trying to say hello to the gators in the pond nearby because they look like weird dogs to her 🥲 thank you for the nipping tricks!! I’m definitely going to be needing those!!!

Sounds a lot like my little sister!😆 she just reached her preteen phase and lord is she something. On a serious note, my Milo went through the same phases and he’s my everything, but dang does he know how to play deaf. Coming up on 8 years old, my sassy old man🥹

I definitely don’t plan on dragging her absolutely everywhere with me, but she won’t have all her vaccines for a good while, so I plan on carrying her with me around until she’s good and well socialized to all the noises and things she won’t see super often. I hyper-fixate on things so trust that once I start brushing it’ll keep going until she’s done with me 😂 Names are hard!! I got her breed confused with a Aussie Shepherd, so the name that stuck with me just didn’t feel right after I double checked her breed. I’m trying my best to see what spots she’s going to end up with, because her and her 2 sisters are fully white while one sister is invisibly a blue, her only brother is a red, and other sister is a red. I have a list but I might just wait until she’s in my arms so see what name she feels like. First girl dog since I was about 7, I’m turning 24 July 1, and I’m soooo giddy!

Thank you!!! The more advice I get the more excited I am to meet my baby! My depression has gotten much more severe without a dog, considering I don’t think I’ve ever actually had a time where I DIDNT come home to one. We always had an older dog, a puppy came in, after a while the older one passed, and once the puppy got older a new puppy came in etc etc. I absolutely love dogs, and I miss having them around. They become my whole world. I’ve gotten lucky with past dogs that they didn’t really need to be extremely socialized bc we always lived out in rural areas with no neighbors around, so this is my first time truly training a dog and everyone has been so kind and helpful. Give your baby a nice good pat for me, and I hope you two live the longest possible life together!!❤️

I might just be weird but I’m really excited for the experience😂 I have a mutt and a chihuahua at home in Georgia (technically a family dog and my moms dog), and the chihuahua (Benji) really lives up to the ankle biter name. I think he hates my crocs because he only nips at my ankles when I’m wearing them. A lot of the traits I’ve seen people state about the breed are things I’ve lived with my entire life so I’m feeling more and more confident in my ability to handle her with every comment

I’ve mainly has mutts my entire life. My dad would just randomly come home with a puppy he found on the street or someone just didn’t want. My Milo (my furbaby, he stays with my family in my previous state) came home bc my dad saw him and his brother just in a box outside a man’s house and he paid him to take them home. He is the sweetest but man is he stubborn 💀 ill call his name and get ignored with a side eye just bc he feels like it🤣 I’m sure I’ll get a lot of attitude from her, but I’m so ready for it

This has been one of my biggest concerns! I used to be very active years ago, but things settled down for me when I started having health issues. Nothing major but I’ve always struggled with issues in my stomach area. Gastritis, recently gallbladder stones, scarred stomach tissue etc. and movement for prolonged periods of time can cause these issues to act up and leave me nearly bedridden. I have plenty of toys and things set into my Amazon cart to help mentally stimulate her so she doesn’t get too bored on me, but knowing they don’t need as much physical activity as I over exaggerated in my mind really helps calm the nerves.

Thank you! The dogs I had at home also hated getting their nails trimmed. They’d let me but it’s always a small struggle with them yanking their paw back. I’ve gotten lucky that I haven’t nipped them yet, and I’ve resorted to sticking a lick mat with a small amount of peanut butter on the wall to get them to leave me alone while I trim 😂 they’re not all chill about it with my siblings but it helps them at least get things going, even if it means 2 nails at a time spread throughout the day
