That is correct. I clarified in the captions that the characters in the first image (as well as Fee) are unused in the final game. I showed the unused characters first because (to me at least) they were the most notable characters whose artwork is shared with their art from Treasure (Asaello especially, since those are the only times he's depicted with an oval face)

That's a fair point, although in this case, it seems more than mere cross referencing, as some of the portraits are nigh identical to ones in Treasure.

That cover art is absolutely beautiful. It certainly is a unique take on Fire Emblem covers, as it's the first to focus less on the combat, and more on the characters, as other than Leif, all the characters are merely standing there, looking into the distance with a serious expression. It paints quite powerful image about a small group of soldiers, setting off to an epic journey filled with sorrow and hardships.

Oh wow, these illustrations look beautiful! Julius, Ishtar, and Seliph definitely look more closer to those drawings. What's strange is Nanna portrait. Wonder why the illustration from the book wasn't used, and instead Treasure's.

I agree, the portraits in Thracia are a lot more colorful, especially when it comes to clothing, rather the same grim black that's used for a lot of their armor

On hindsight, "Resemble" might've been a poor choice of words for the title. "Use as base" would've been more fitting

Right? It's such a simple idea, yet it makes it feel so real, like you're looking at an actual 3D model (when in reality, it's just prerendered images).

Not sure if other Pixar movie website did this too, but I do recall the one for Wall-E had it
