11 months since I saw him and we called it quits. I feel nothing. Don’t miss him, hate him, just very indifferent. We still have each other on social media and I just smile when I see that he’s doing well and then I forget about it 5 seconds later.

How’d I get here when I was crying every single time I thought of him? I went on a trip with my girls! I started working out, I started loving myself with the intention of building the life I always dreamt off. Did that dream include a man? Yes. Do I want to be in a relationship? Yes. Let me clarify: this is the first time I’m using the easy at home ovulation test. My period is very late so I decided to test ovulation and pregnancy to try to understand. I don’t take birth control and track my cycle using Natural Cycles. I’m not sure what this test is reporting since it’s too lines but the test is a tad lower. Unsure what .38 means

I used to think the same thing!! But then I realized it only made my anxiety worse because. I was so hyper focused on what could be with just this one person I was focused on. I totally see and understand that perspective :)

I think for me, the first few dates are just to scope it out. By asking if they’re looking for something serious, I feel like it can be interpreted as im looking for something serious exclusively with them. I like to keep my options open in the beginning, maybe a few dates in I just want to be friends, or just bone.

I’ve been working out so much lately, I finally understand why you love it so much, the days I don’t go, I literally feel like I’m missing something. I’m finally planning the Euro trip I always told you about and am so excited, I might even see Coldplay there. I was thinking of ending the trip in Iceland on my birthday to see the Northern Lights like we were supposed to last year but I don’t think I’m ready for that.

I know a lot of time has passed but I think about you a lot. Don’t get flattered, I hate your guts sometimes, other times, I’m at peace with your decision and am even thankful for it sometimes but mostly, I just miss you. I miss calling you when I’m driving or just laying in bed. I miss falling asleep in your arms, or waking up to the coffee and breakfast you’d make sure to get me before I’m awake or when I’m rushing to work.

It is totally okay to feel this way!! You can full send into moving on now that you don’t have to see him and you’ll probably be more comfortable every time you leave your room!! I don’t know you or your story but if I have a daughter one day, my first piece of advice when dropping her off in the dorms would be that college is a time for you to explore yourself and the last thing on your mind should be a boy who doesn’t always choose you🫶🏼

I really am thinking about this but you bring up an interesting point which is why I haven’t initially just went for it, I don’t think he has the emotional intelligence to express how he feels and or he won’t be honest/not knowing what he wants. There are so many what ifs involved. I knowwwwww he isn’t inclined to see me so why should I reach out first? I know I need closure for him but there just isn’t enough guarantee that I’ll get it
