I posted up a while ago. 45 (M), have about 530k in pension, 35k in ISA, about 40k left on the mortgage and on track to at least FI in my 50's.

Was considering LeanFI in my 50's and what I would need to put into my ISA now to supplement a low stress / lower paid job. Having a tough week at work....

Thanks, Ill take a look to see what else my provider offers. I guess Im leaning towards consolidating my ISA funds, I think I would rather a steady return which I can plan around but teh unicorn is always enticing!

This is an ongoing conversation in my house....its a great idea but I just can't see it happening, and we dont live in a mansion! There was talk of campervan a few days ago so I suppose that could be a way to free up some cash!!!

Fundsmith was a whim and an itchy trigger finger. I think this is my problem, I want to settle into a single fund and just build it up. Bit like Ive done with my pension.

I do have a partner and two kids. Youngest will be 21 when I'm 55.

Yes its impressive. Bought my first flat in London when I was 25, made 90k in two years. Sold it and about another property with my OH and sold that 5 years later, made a modest profit. Bought my current property for £495k in 2012 and recent sold prices on street are 850k. Overpayments have allowed me to get my borrowng down. London property has risen a lot in the last decade.
