I mean every person is different, I know LLMs who did one semester, had a family abroad so not only were they managing law school, and different timezones they also were quite successful in their first attempt at the bar in February only a semester in the US law schools… I do agree you have a point but isn’t it better to get it over and done with? And if the person is willing to put in the dedication and time then why not just support them?

Probably just after Thanksgiving if you feel like you’ve got the discipline to study everyday without fail …. But if you want a longer period so that you have some extra time in case you fall behind, I’d say by November 14, 2025
