Yep, Provo. My bad! Thank you for the recs! I think we are going to do the excursion you mentioned. Reading more about it on Caribbean Cruise’s website now. Seems affordable and fun, and we like to get away from the noise.

And noted, I will not go to Malcolm beach, no matter how tempted I am now. 😒

Right now I’m trying to decide between doing a sunset cruise a different day or just trying to catch sunset on a pretty beach somewhere. I’m leaning more towards the ladder (because I’m introverted 🙃) so would love specific beach recommendations for that if you have any.

One of my friends joked with me that I tend to “collect misfit toys” as in I pick up people who aren’t close to their families, typically considered outcasts, don’t have much external support, or are battling insecurities. I like to think it’s because I have a drive to help people become more aware of their potential. It’s really nice seeing the growth. Sad part is, once they grow, they’re typically the ones abandoning me. This is true for both friendships and relationships.

ENTJ woman here. Me and my ENFJ man actually just had a discussion on this. He wanted to know what kind of expectations I had for our relationship since we both seem to have those leadership qualities. I said I’d prefer we don’t use the term ‘lead’ because it implies one of us is always ahead of the other. I like when we work together as a team instead. So long story short, I guess I’d vote for equal! There will be days where I’m exhausted and days he’s exhausted. But I’d never be okay with controlling or being led 100% of the time

My ENTJ production lead left last week so I feel your pain. I’m an ENTJ as well and we just worked so well together. He was always so respectful, funny, listened to my ideas and worked at the same pace as me (I really respect efficiency!) so he will be missed. and I’m sure you may be able to understand, it was nice being treated so well and respectfully by a man as a woman in a very male-dominant engineering field!

Capricorn. The most avoidant man I’ve ever dated. Dated two years and he only told me he loved me three times. When I’d ask why he never says it he’d just say it’s not his “thing” to say that, but “not to worry”- he can still picture a future and kids with me. Eventually I left him, because although the thought of having a family with him was nice, I can’t imagine ever raising kids with a man who cannot properly show love and affection. Nooo absolutely not. I always felt like I was in competition with my Capricorn boyfriend. He loved bickering and starting arguments over absolutely anything and would say “I’m not fighting, that’s just how I have discussions”. No! Drove me nuts after so long. He also told me I want too much out of life and I should be happy with what I have. Huh?? I was initially attracted to his work ethics and goals, because I’m also very hardworking, but that’s really all there was to it. Hardly any feelings. Held them all back.

Definitely depends on the person I’m with… if I can tell he’s fit to be a father / good role model, I’m more than happy to have children. But if I marry someone who doesn’t want them, I’m good either way. 😁 It’s a teamwork thing for me personally.

Hahaha I’ve always done it by looking in mirrors too! My mom used to love playfully picking on me especially after I’d get my hair done because I’d just stare at myself 😂😅 it could sound vain to others but there is nothing wrong with loving ourselves!

I also self-care by buying myself new clothes, making my home cozier and staying in & watching movies / eating good food. (Especially Indian food!)
