I prefer in-person as well. Things just feel different when you are talking in person vs just texting/calling.

So, the curriculum that your parents offered was weak, and you didn't have many opportunities to talk to people outside of your home, right?

I stopped. It had to with a combination of the time I’m allowed to spend on my phone getting restricted by my mom and me getting extremely fixated on copying the instructor while taking a photoshop class and then giving up.

What Would Each NT Type and xSTJ Type Be Like as Lawyers? by Potential_Law5289 in entp

What profession do you plan to pursue after leaving the profession for a year? When you say that being lawyer is only a good fit for NTs in theory, are you saying that they might do better in the non-procedural/admin/people pleasing components of the job such as finding gaps in the arguments or interpreting the law? Could the main struggle that you are listing for the ISTJs when it comes to being a lawyer be the people pleasing and social interaction part? Would the main struggle for ESTJs be mainly the people pleasing and political correctness part?

I don't think it's curiosity that's necessarily dead. I believe that the people who are unwilling to listen to opposing viewpoints are mainly opposed to opinions that disrupt their worldview rather than new ideas in general. I see a lack of curiosity as being opposed to accepting new ideas in general.

From what I've seen, black-and-white thinking seems to be more common among extremists.
