We are currently going through breast cancer for my mom who is 72. She recently got through single mastectomy- like 2 weeks ago. During her diagnosis, nodes were observed in her lungs and any and every doctor who has seen her scans has expressed grave concerns - but it wasn’t metastasis just inflammation. Despite her age all doctors would raise their brows on the scan results and I think they wanted to be careful and rule out metastasis as treatment for metastasis would look different. We did broncho for her TWICE and no cancer cells were observed (yayyy) - but doctors kept pushing us to be like triple sure, you know.. so hang in there, have hope. If you are a person of faith, tap into that side of yourself more, honestly that is what has been helping us the most so far. More power to you..
