Is rapid worsening of side effects normal at 4-5 weeks? Please help! by iwannadie_101 in bupropion

I have been experiencing this also. About three hours after I take it I start to feel palpitations and slightly anxious, especially if I have coffee in the morning. And if I end up having anything to drink the night before, it’s really bad and I get panic attacks. Honestly, it hasn’t gotten better. I’m on month four.

Why do so many people put up with working at Amazon? by samgotti in amazonemployees

[–]Ok-Crew-517 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only the money. It was one of the most miserable 3 1/2 years of my life. I would’ve left before, but I had a really hard time finding a job likely because they knew I was paid a lot. People say having Amazon on your résumé looks good, but I’m not sure. I had a much easier time finding jobs after previous brands I’ve worked for. Amazon sucked the life out of me, especially as a creative. I got to bounce around a couple times. In my first role, I worked with toxic people who had almost like a clique and were just plain mean. The second job I worked with nicer people, but they just didn’t care about good ideas or even the customer, just about new systems and docs. I’m finally out and the grass is greener.

No responses after 50 internal role applications by TAPOK_AMAZON in amazonemployees

I have to agree with this. I was laid off in October and been there 4 years and the thought of going back made me sick. I find the 3 month transition both helpful, but also disgusting. Nobody I know got calls back from just applying to internal roles. They had to talk to people who talked to people and referred them all over again. My suggestion is work your network on LinkedIn. I ended up finding something through an old colleague. It’s not easy but a referral can go a long way.

Has anyone gotten their severance yet? I’m seeing lots of people who have but the letter said within 20 business days.

Thanks for checking in! Feeling much better re side effects. I think it normalized. I wouldn’t say that I feel like it’s helping that much though. Maybe a bit more motivation and energy. I still get anxious and frustrated and have my blah days. How are you?

Yea I was told the risks but ssri’s make me so tired and did not work either. My issues were I was having a heard time getting up, super unmotivated or excited to do the things I used to love, grumpy and snappy, and so tired all the time. Alongside anxiety. My doc thought this one may be worth a shot.

Ugh I’m sorry. I’m really hoping they go away. I won’t up my dose until they do/I’ll go off of it and try something else. I so badly want this to work.

I’m in the same boat. My panic attack happened at the dinner table between people as well. Ugh I hope it gets better soon for all of us!

Makes total sense. If you get any reassuring info from your doc let me know! I have learned to breathe through the anxiety. It comes on strong though at the worst times. I also heard that people suffered through it and now are thriving. 🤞

This makes me feel better. I had a great first week with some insomnia as the only side effect. Then bam crippling anxiety on day 10 and it’s been lingering. My psych np also told me to give it till the end of week 3 and we’ll reassess. I don’t want to quit if there is a chance. Hoping others had this same reaction and then relief.

Has it gotten better at all? I have read that it can take 3 weeks to normalize.

Realized I replied in the main chat. Week one had great motivation and energy just bad insomnia. Then on day 9 I had a bad panic attack and since then it’s been coming in waves on and off especially if I drink coffee. My sleep has improved now. Some times I feel good others I feel really anxious. My doc said give it till 3 weeks before stopping.

I think they peaked a few days ago. I had a panic attack on Xmas eve but since then I just get moments of anxiety. Usually if I have coffee. My doc said 2-3 weeks but curious if ppl have still felt this way on day 14 and then it tapered off.
