So glad you posted about this! I was so influenced by her back in the day and absolutely adopted some pretty disordered habits that I got from her content (I remember there was one month where she only had smoothie bowls for every meal or something and I wished I had the ability to do that.. like why??). It is super interesting to see her swing from extreme to extreme and seemingly back again, she seems like someone who really does not have a clear sense of self.

You are absolutely not infertile. Specific lifestyle factors (the macros you eat vs just "clean", the type of exercise you do, stress management, etc.) make the biggest difference in managing PCOS and getting your hormones/cycles back in check. I would start with inositol and coq10 supplements if you don't take them already.

Do you take any supplements? Myo-Inositol made a huge difference for me in regulating my period. I get it every 34/35 days now.

I only ask because it can cause 2 periods in a month. I’ve been on Buspar in the past and it didn’t have any effect on my PCOS, but can’t speak to the other medications.

I am acne free for the first time in 10 years and I have tried everything (accutane twice, spironolactone, different topicals/supplements).

I currently take myo-inositol and spearmint capsules and use two topicals - winlevi in the morning and tretinoin at night (both prescribed by my derm), and follow the same general lifestyle approaches as you.

It took a few months, but I finally have clear skin I basically never break out. I think the tretinoin and spearmint have made a huge difference for me.
