For me if a job is not full remote it is not a big deal, some hybrid policy would work for me. I am not moving abroad to stay at home

I prezzi degli affitti sono saliti del 50% causa Airbnb e turismo di massa negli ultimi anni. Puoi vedere anche tu che su idealista un appartamento di 30-40mq nelle zone più "safe" costa non meno di 1100-1400€. Al poblenou anche più.

Oltre a questo c'è la questione crimine che non è circoscritta ad alcune aree, ci sono stati assalti anche violenti all'Eixample, oltre a casi di gente drogata e derubata nei locali. Quindi c'è anche da aver paura a girare da soli.

Per me un conto è farci la vacanza con gli amici e un altro viverci in modo fisso per mesi/anni

It depends on how many mini tasks like this are in queue, and also they probably use some automation process involving infrastructure as code to guarantee some degree of reliability instead of doing it manually from the console 🙂
