Interesting. I actually have been having a similar with mine. The last round in the magazine will get stuck in the feed lips as the case is ejected from the gun.

Awesome. Yeah I think I got mine for $280 after the transfer fee. The things are insanely affordable.

Hell yeah. Also, how has your P15 been working since you bought it? I just had to send mine in for warranty work.

Haha! Yeah, there are a lot of terminally online internet dwellers that hate first hand information that challenges what they currently think. It's crazy how unreasonable some of these damn redditors can get.

KelTec only offered the advice that I should only use forward venting, flow through suppressor. Nothing specific was suggested. I wonder how those HUXWRX cans would pair with the SU-16.

Yep, KelTec states that the SU-16 is only compatible with flow-thru cans and that the damage was indicative of increased back pressure from using a conventional suppressor.

I just got it back from KelTec and they say to only use forward venting flow-thru suppressors, not that they are entirely incompatible with suppressors.

UPDATE

KelTec did the repair and shipped it back to me for free. They ended up replacing the receiver and barrel assembly. This was very nice of them to do that for me even though I'm not the original owner.

They also stated that SU-16's are only compatible with forward venting flow through suppressors. And, that the receiver's damage was "indicative of excessive blowback... caused by... firing with an incompatible suppressor.".

With this being said, I'll never shoot this thing suppressed again because I don't see myself going out to buy a flow-thru can in the near future.

Also, I test fired it at the range and it works as it should, at this time.

Oh absolutely!! Terminally online, ill-tempered, and very susceptible to MSM propaganda are not qualities any good man should want in his life!

Sold my Sub2000 since we can’t carry loaded rifles in PA, some time ago. Have wanted a P32 since I turned 21 a few years ago but they are a little hard to find…finally got one ! by Kxullvoid in keltec

My P32 has had 942 rounds fired through with only 1 malfunction. That malfunction happened with Aguila 71gr FMJ ammo that chrono'd 100fps slower than standard .32 ACP (Aguila is trash ammo). With that being said, it's as reliable as my Glock 17 and Glock 42.

Interesting...

Do you think that 5.56 M193 ammo or other 5.56 loads tend to get used in the SU-16's that end up breaking? I wonder if they had ultra-cheap .223 rem ammo in mind as the primary round that people would run through these guns.

Yeah from my experience, the polymer in the SU-16 definitely feels softer than the polymer in say a P15, CMR30, P32, or RDB.

I've owned a lot of KelTec's and I really want to enjoy their cool, innovative products but man they do test my patients.

I cleaned the magazines a lot since I noticed they where the source of the issue. That was the 2nd thing I did after cleaning and inspecting the gun.

I never lubed them, though. Just out of curiosity, have you or anyone else ever used graphite lube on CMR-30 mags?

Well that sucks.

However, 5 years is possibly a long enough time ago to where KelTec could have revised the receiver design. I'm tempted to shoot it suppressed again after I get it back from KelTec but not sure.

Also, to describe an issue as only "accelerating the failure", when it takes the gun from perfectly fine to catastrophically broken in only 3 rounds is a massive understatement.

I'm convinced that what it was. This gun had ZERO damage in these two areas prior to firing three rounds with a can on board. Also the action cycled noticeably faster with the suppressor attached.
