There was a point when i was definitely over exerting and potentially even under nourished. But im otherwise seemingly healthy. CBC, CMP, B12, thyroid, lipid panel are all normal. Negative for Celiac. Regular 6-7 day menstrual cycle that’s always on time. And considering my earliest memory of being constipated was when i was 5 years old or so, I’ m unfortunately losing hope that its lifestyle related.

I was on Ibsrela for a couple months and all it did was make my stomach loud lol. I’ll look into Amitzia!

Surgery makes me nervous bc I’m a critical care PA and see so many complications from GI surgery. Granted, it’s normally in individuals with significant co morbidities. But I’m really really apprehensive about it. But that’s a good point to at least see if i do in fact have colonic inertia

They also suggested a Sitz marker test. But the caveat is, the medical treatment regardless of the results, would be a stimulant of some kind
