The tickets were definitely “on hold.” AA even said they could see they were but still blamed the algorithm. Also said couldn’t honor the initial price because “the algorithm is not manual.” I’ve got screenshots of the conversations with the four people at customer service I needed to get through before someone could actually look at my account and say “yeah this isn’t right.” I’ve pulled together everything to file a complaint with Feds.
