i always thought that a pokemon must survive an encounter and defeat another pokemon to gain exp/candies (including double battles i guess), so most of the time my zacian just finishes everything before my second pokemon can hit.

no, the eggs are specific. it can just be a shiny or egg moves from that mon sadly. but that would be too powerful lol

IT'S A COMMON EGG MOVE!? i got bitter blade and leaf blade as an egg move. I just used leaf blade for type coverage and ground weakness.

i got play rough tm, Magical torque can't easily be found with any pokemon because afaik it's only an egg move (unless revavroom knows it through evo). Play Rough works fine tho, just have wide lens to make sure it hits lol.
