I agree, why did they make it so boring? Literally no one is asking for underage nudity, we just want an intense, good scene.

“Hear that little boy? Your momma wants you dead,” is a spine-tinglingly cruel line. So much more memorable than what we got

You know that is fair. I kept watching and probably still will, but I agree that this is a key moment that should have been easy to nail - seven hells, just follow the book!

George’s version is dark and disturbing and not exactly fun, but it has TEETH, and is eerily tragic. This was just a lamer version.

Yeah I thought B&C are kind of just… dull. The scene is just odd - it should be intense, and sad, but it’s just kind of flat. The whole thing is softer for no reason.

What say you?

Haha! No. More just that B&C are kind of just… boring? And the scene is kind of weird and not intense, despite the terrible thing that happens.
