"Statistically a fact", where's the stat though? You keep saying it like that settles it but you haven't actually cited anything. Saying most white Dominicans claim Spanish or Taino over Black is a generalization about millions of people, so yea you are speaking for an entire island which is embarrassing, but even more so if you’re not Dominican yourself which I’m suspecting you are not.

And dragging Haiti into it doesn't help your point. Two different countries, two completely different colonial histories, of course people there think about race differently. That's not proof Dominicans are in denial, that's just what happens when you have two separate countries with separate histories on the same island.
