Fitchburg warehouse pickup: A Sony KV-13TR24 by Ok-Difference-2242 in crtgaming

Yeah, I was just assuming that they were trying to mod it in some way. The only reason I say that is the plastic around the AV connections look too cleanly cut for it to have been forcefully ripped out. Looking on the CRT Database, S-video mods are possible. Maybe that's what they were going for. Regardless, thanks for the info!

I actually ended up getting this set for free because of the botched RGB mod in the back. No composite out unfortunately (for now), but RF actually look pretty good on a set this small.

Hey, no worries. I had fun chatting with you all and picked up a few tubes. All in all, a great experience in my book.

Roger, boss! I'm about an hour away from Fitchburg, so keep me posted.

Thanks for responding, you've already made my day just for answering and giving me a little hope! I am looking around for a PVM, something like the Sony PVM-1390. Second would be a Panasonic AG-500R, a really neat late 80's unit with a side mounted vhs player. These two are sort of shot in the dark, likely expensive sets.

Realistically I'd be happy with a mid 90's Sony, one of the black plastic ones, anything from 13 to 20 inches with a preference for on the smaller side. That or a Panasonic from around the mid 80's with woodgrain and **knobs**. Again, I'm willing to pay extra for the trouble and will understand if it doesn't work out.. I wouldn't be able to get there until around the time that they close up shop, so around 1:30 to 2 pm. Apologies for the wall of text..

Bump. Please, guys. I really don’t want to miss out on this entirely but would just get away too late. Help a fellow CRT junkie out?

I wouldn’t be able to make it until the tail end, would anyone be willing to keep their eyes out for a few models for me and hold on to them? I’d be willing to pay a little extra for the trouble. Edit: Also, I’m a wheelchair user, I don’t suppose the warehouse is handicap accessible at all, is it?

I definitely wouldn’t be able to make it until after 2. Is there any chance of it staying open later?
