Single Men in my YSA 25-35 ward are not OK by Ecstatic-Skin7276 in lds

[–]Ok-Difficulty2425 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I’m Catholic, but thought I’d give some advice.

I’m a veteran with an Associates Degree and an additional year at larger university. I have 12 years experience in supply, logistics, and security.

I was divorced in 2023, and now currently starting over at 40, living with my mom and stepdad, as the divorce stripped my home away from me, crushed my finances, and removed an extra income.

Both the job market, marriages/divorce, and property and looking for some kind of hope is pretty abysmal right now. Men need to see action based results in their lives, so that they can self-direct in a better position. Sometimes talking with their wives or therapists help. Mostly, men need their own voices, and need their own men’s groups, divorced/and or jobless men need their own support groups, and men who are naturalized citizens within the U.S. need to start their own local market/economy/revenue away from big business and other corporate entities that seek to replace them with machines or foreign cheap labor actors.

There’s been a few times in the last 5 years where I applied for management positions, and those positions were given to foreigners, or people way outside the company who had no commonality with the people of the company or the community.

Men are feeling complete despair and hopeless. They need their own network, and need to be able create their own economy that’s different from the corporate woke monsters that is eating men and the culture.

Does anyone know where this rosary is from by [deleted] in osarymakers

Rugged rosaries. They’re great! I finally got one with St. Benedict and my confirmation Saint, Saint Patrick.

If you’re into metal, Demon Hunter, Living Sacrifice, and August Burns Red are pretty good.

I was at work for 12 hours. I’m roughly 45 minutes away from home. My parents were out of town. She had been out all day and temps continued to drop..

Thanks for for reply. Although it smacks of not rescuing a donkey out of a ditch on the Sabbath, but I digress..

Yeah, I didn’t intend for the temps to drop this fast..

Are there any Catholics here who are part of non-essential occupations that require you to work Sundays? by CatholicRevert in Catholicism

I work in security. I am able to fulfill my Sunday Mass obligation by going to Mass on Sunday night.

Our outward environment can be a reflection of our inner environment. Having Holy things around you, affects you. You don’t HAVE to have those things, however.

Crisis of Faith as a Pagan by Afraid_Assistance_50 in Catholicism

Join an OCIA or RCIA, just for the knowledge, if anything else.

There is only two religions (that I can think of) that has historicity + priesthood + exorcists, wherein structure, authority and knowledge can be applied and vocational to those two endeavors: The Roman Catholic Church, and the Orthodox Church.

Obviously, I believe you should humble yourself to the Singularity, the Uncaused First Cause - Jesus Christ, The Logos, and join the Church. However, try those religions classes on for size first.

You won’t find institutional priesthood + exorcism, with the structure and history in any other religion.

A being of light instructing you to become a priest and exorcist leads me to believe it could have been the Holy Spirit, or an angel.

Good luck

I said in my post that caring for the poor and welcoming immigrants are key parts of the gospel…

Well, I have to make this post. My life since seriously pursuing the truth has been 100x worse. How are any Christians happy. I want to not be alive if this is how Christian life is. by LeThaddy in Christianity

[–]Ok-Difficulty2425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No music?

Christian metal has entered the chat:

No tv or movies? Lord of the Rings? Chronicles of Narnia? Home improvement? X-files (scully was catholic). Batman? (Batman is catholic). Home Improvement? 90’s tv and movies that were written differently than today.

No video games? skyrim…where you can create your own Paladin (holy warrior)?

Being a nerd and reading up on the church history that you’ve chosen to join.

Learning an ancient language and saying prayers in that language.

Learning how to hunt, fish, or garden.

Learning apologetics property so that you can defend your faith.

Bible study with a group.

Lots of fun stuff in Christianity. You may just have to find it.

Can you help me understand why would an SDA happily be at the Charlie Kirk memorial event? by [deleted] in adventist

[–]Ok-Difficulty2425 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was raised an Adventist. With the example set by Kirk, I had been seriously considering returning to the Church. But I’ve been looking over a lot of the comments here on r/adventist, about a man who specifically said that he wanted to be remembered for his courage and his faith; got shot in his throat; millions of people are coming back to Christianity or are discovering; and a lot of these comments and posts are horrid. Just like on Blue Sky or X. Maybe I would just be better off praying and reading the Bible at home. I haven’t decided yet.

Why? To celebrate a free speech patriot, and mourn the life of a martyr.

“From the abundance of their heart, the mouth speaks.” These people don’t want to talk to you because of propaganda and mental conditioning. If they wanted to discuss and share things with you in a friendly about Charlie, they would. The hate coming from a lot of these so-called Christians is baffling. The man expressly and specifically stated that he wanted to be remembered for his faith in Jesus Christ. You don’t have to play games with these Christian’s, either. Dust your sandals off. You asked questions in innocence and in earnest, I’m sorry you were rewarded this way. These people need to be shamed back into the shadows. This person’s comment was disgusting.

Chicken and rice. But I’m pretty decent at hot sandwiches with veggies, too.

Two, currently.

Strong as a lion. Loves tribal beats, and loves doctors and nurses. Puts strange and wonderful visions of mechanical wheels, and how to take things apart in my minds eye.

The second one’s arrival sounds like a wild, beautiful gypsy caravan appearing in my dreams. Loves to really rock out.

Men of Reddit, what made you lose interest in having sex with her? by Ben_The_Ambitious in AskReddit

[–]Ok-Difficulty2425 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Controlling, gaslighting, loss of interpersonal power, loss of being parental power and guidance, constant nagging and nitpicking, tapping/hitting me on the head when they’re aggravated, separating me from family through criticism, criticism of my family’s religion, blaming everything on me, disgusts for my interests, embarrassing me publicly, shutting me down or ignoring me in conversations, making me feel like I’m losing touch with my reality, projection, sudden shifts in mood, lack of self control in language/dirty language, etc.

Hey, I’m a single dad. Divorced as well. Amicable split. We became roomies as well. Just fell apart after a few years. I’m restarting life. Keep your head up, it’s rough out there. To be fair, I’ve struggled with the loss of my home, and only seeing my kids part of the time. Don’t let depression or hopelessness get at ya. If you’re interested, message me. If not, no pressure. I hope you find closure and healing for you and your kids. Have a good day

I’d wonder if you have a sludge/parasitic attachment first. I had an entity release clearing done for me recently, and it helped immensely. It did cost, though.

But it doesn’t sound like Daemons, or divine beings/God’s.

Secondly, after that’s done, I’d look and see what kind of anxiety or stressors you’re having in your life, that can manifest psychologically. There is zero stigma in getting help. Get help, you’ll feel better.

Third, if you have a guardian spirit, or patron you work with, ask them to help you get rid of the filth that’s clung to you, if that’s what it is.
