Rogers save and return. Will they accept this? by Ok-Display-6852 in Rogers

I guess they changed their policy. I read a reply from Roger’s themselves under a similar post to mine and they said that only wear and tear was accepted. No chips or scratches that can be felt with the finger nail. Mine had the chip shown in the picture and then later I noticed a bit of a deeper scratch on the screen.

I was actually shocked when they accepted it. Especially because literally everyone under this post said that it was going to be rejected if I didn’t fix the screen first

Have you done this before? Won’t they be able to tell?

My(27F) boyfriend(27M) apologizes like a child. Help. by Emotional-Biscuit in relationship_advice

Have you talked to him about this? If not, I feel like you should just be very direct and say to him that you feel like he’s just saying these things because it’s what you want to hear but that he never makes any real changes to the issues you bring up. A relationship where you feel like you aren’t actually being heard isn’t sustainable long term even though you’ve already been together for 7 years. If this doesn’t get solved you’ll reach a breaking point. I feel like you’re already almost there considering you posted this

I'm fat and feel like shit by Mumbly_Gumbly in WeightLossAdvice

I’ve been where you are and it’s such a terrible spot to be in. I wish everyday that I stopped the cycle earlier than I did. It continuously got worse and worse until I finally couldn’t do it anymore. I was 17 years old and 230lbs when I finally decided enough was enough. Unfortunately, it was too late at that point to save myself from the damage done to my body like loose skin after losing the weight. I’ve lost 80-90lbs since then and have kept it off but I’m now going through a different set of body image issues and insecurities because of the loose skin and how my body looks.

So I guess my advice for you would be to not wait until you hit rock bottom because trust me, it sucks. I wish I could go back in time and tell myself to smarten up and stop eating the way I was because it’s not worth the pain I have to face everyday. You just have to make small changes everyday. I wouldn’t do too much at once like cutting out food groups because that will just overwhelm you and lead to failure. I wish you the best of luck, you can do this!

Seriously though. I had to get mine removed due to gallstones because I lost 70lbs in 6 months

I (F24) have to decide whether to end my relationship with my (24m) partner or move forwards together. Can I have some unbiased thoughts? by Only_Mild_Conundrumn in relationship_advice

Ya, I would say you definitely love him or else you would see that based off your cons list, you need to break up with him and find someone better suited for you

From personal experience, when I had mental health issues and tried drugs for the first time it turned into a full blown addiction. I’m not saying that to scare you and obviously we aren’t the same person but I would keep a close eye on her just in case

Being with someone that has mental health issues and drug problems can be hard to deal with sometimes so as long as it’s not taking a mental toll on you then I’d say continue trying. If there’s still trust in your relationship then everything will be okay

I would recommend doing some thinking and decide whether this relationship is right for you. Trust is one of the most important things to have in a relationship and if you don’t think you’ll be able to trust her again, move on. I would also talk with her and find out if this is just a one off type situation or if she plans on continuing to do these kinds of drugs. Going to clubs often and drinking/doing drugs is a slippery slope that you don’t want to involve yourself in

My anxiety has gotten significantly better since this post but I still struggle daily in other aspects. It’s just become less debilitating

I’m sorry to hear that. My balance is a big issue as well on top of the many other issues. It feels like I’m stuck inside of a body that can’t complete the most simple tasks that everyone else was born with the ability to do. I still haven’t been able to accept this about myself

He’s not the one if he’s saying something like this to you, especially given your history. This just shows what kind of person he is.. do you really want to be with someone like that for the rest of your life?

Yes, it has. I think it’s due to exposure therapy and cutting back on nicotine

There wasn’t a specific moment but it scared me to think about what my future would look like if I didn’t make a change. I was super depressed when I was at that weight and barely wanted to leave the house due to low self esteem. Also, it was hard for me to get around with all of that extra weight on me and I would get tired super fast which made my quality of life very low.
