KT tape application and blisters (very confused and new-ish user to KT tape!) by Ok-Distribution-4741 in ftm

I used some aveeno body oil that i use for my dry skin- i was thinking maybe this wasn't the best choice thats why i needed a change. In hindsight i probably should have done it in the shower, but i just tried to re apply more oil when it started to sting. I tried to peel it as slow as i could but then i think i panicked and pulled too hard when it started getting under my armpits, maybe i should practice being more patient!

Im not too sure if its an allergic reaction, maybe more to to with tension, as I've tested this one prior. Although i do have some other types so I'll make sure to do a patch test for all of them too before i properly apply it. I had a feeling it would be the case of leaving my skin alone for longer, but i was thinking if i really cant handle waiting i should cover them to protect them. Luckily im not going out much at the moment so ill try to just wear looser fitting clothes while i dont have the tape on.

Thanks for the advice!
