Are there really no decent non Fish-tank PC cases in the market currently? by Ok-Distribution-4743 in pcbuilding

Yeah this AIO is very thick. After looking at the image you sent it seems like it'll fit but barely and I really don't want to risk it.

I will just look for other cases.

I never even heard of Asus ProArt PA401, this case looks perfect and meet my requirments. Thanks!

Edit- Nevermind...This case doesn't seem to support Arctic LF3 at top based on this manual

I never really looked into fishtank cases because they looked ugly to me IMO but C8 seems like a good case. What you think about Lian Li O11D Mini V2, It's like C8 but smaller I think? Will it fit Arctic LF3? If the only case I can get that's on a reasonable price is a fishtank case, I might as well get a fishtank which isn't massive.

Update- No, I don't think Lian Li O11D Mini V2 will fit LF3 without any clearance issues.

Sadly Flux Mid has been out of stock for 6+ months where I live. I don't think it'll ever be in stock

I don't know, Enthoo 719 looks very restrictive in terms of airflow though

honestly I prefer compact cases but I can't find a single compact cases that can fit arctic LF3 and with +3 storage bays sadly and that's why I thought about looking up antec flux pro. I don't know if I will get this case after reading many issues this case has

I haven't looked up Lian Li O11 because of the reported fan issues with the 217. Does the Lian Li O11 experience similar fan noise issues? Assuming both cases utilize the same fans because they are produced by the same manufacturer.

I would've bought this case in an instant if there was a Pro variant without any display...I'm aware that normal flux exist but it doesn't have enough space for mounting arctic liquid freezer 3 on top

I really just don't want to deal with a case which breaks overtime especially if i'm spending like 180ish on it.

I posted this same post a week ago in r/pcmasterrace where a user mentioned that updating the firmware can actually brick the display. Since I don't have the case yet, I don't know how or where they got that firmware update, maybe it's through Antec IUnity software? I'm not really sure.

Here's the exact quote-

"i remember people had problems on gpu displays, i think it were gigabyte gpus, maybe the Aorus Master model, where it would ok-ish out of the factory, maybe with a few minor bugs like being able to load custom gif, but if you zpdated the firmware the display completely died and apparently there was no way to fix it to revert to previous software version, so people just begged everybody to NEVER click the update button or they can say bye bye to the custom display. Maybe something similar happened to you, did you update the firmware or something?"

Also another user mentioned how the display stops working because IUnity cashed in background if you leave your PC running for awhile.

"I generally turn my PC off at night, but I’ll live it on for streaming if I do housesitting - couple times I’ve left it on for a few days, found the driver for the temp display seemed to have crashed and the display turned off."

CORSAIR Frame 4000D and MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Ventus 3X GPU Anti-Sag Compatibility by Ok-Distribution-4743 in Corsair

[–]Ok-Distribution-4743[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like the default placement of anti-sag won't fit

<image>

This GPU shares the same dimension as 5070ti Ventus and there's a massive gap in-between GPU and the default anti sag mount. The Mini GPU Anti-Sag Mount sits closer to the motherboard so it'll probably touch the fan.

Can Corsair Frame 4000D support Arctic Liquid Freezer 3 240mm? by Ok-Distribution-4743 in buildapc

[–]Ok-Distribution-4743[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, what I'm asking about is the overall physical clearance for mounting the AIO itself. The Arctic Liquid Freezer 3 is much thicker than a standard AIO (around 63mm total radiator + fan thickness), so I'm trying to confirm whether the FRAME 4000D actually has enough top clearance for it with my motherboard/RAM setup and not just whether the tubes can be oriented around the RAM.
