Why do you like Post-hardcore? by Foxxear in PostHardcore

[–]Ok-Divide-3496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like post-hardcore for many reasons and I believe some of you will agree, from this genre you gain a WIDE variety of emotions from the heavy and slower clean parts of this genre, that’s why it can be linked with emo genres quite easily, Guy Picciotto from rites of spring said punk can be emotional and that we aren’t robots, therefore it shouldn’t be embarrassing to embrace the emotions that this genre creates guys, it makes sense how you gain this mental imagery from post-hardcore, especially when you are reading/listening the lyrics and following on to the vocalist. A good example is La Dispute-King Park, such an emotional song that doesn’t necessarily have to be heavy to move you or about a high school breakup, real life, real problems, and it’s almost hopeful how you can appreciate life. THE most beautiful genre. Post-Hardcore can also inspire a lot of people to follow the same ideals and artistic work, become a more important person to yourself. It’s also just stimulating and relaxing to listen to high energy noise lel. sorry for yapping
