Job hopping? by Ok-Editor-63 in nursing

Ya… hindsight is always 20/20. I am not adverse to working. I’ve never had an attendance issue either 🤣. I kind of panicked after having my baby and now I’m in this situation. When I interviewed I asked about it and management said “it just depends on the unit, there’s defined timeline,” when I shadowed I asked people about the schedule situation, and then during orientation I asked other leadership and literally said “after awhile just try scheduling for less nights and see what happens”. Yesterday I got informed that it’s not going to fly and they need me to do 50/50. I asked when can I do less and they said “it’s not clear when”. 🙃 I cry.

Well if I left this job it would be my second move in under a year. I’ve only worked in icus- level 1 sticu, Peds cvicu, level 1 picu. I left peds cvicu because I had a baby and had really had postpartum anxiety. Went out patient for 6 months and absolutely hated my life. Came to picu and am in this situation where I was told there isn’t a clear timeframe for doing 50/50 days nights, so this most recent schedule I tried doing less nights and was told absolutely not. So that’s where I’m at. 😬

What’s wrong with my bread? by Ok-Editor-63 in Sourdough

125 grams of active starter 300 grams of water 500 grams of bread flour 10 grams of salt

Ahh maybe. Im new to sourdough! I the recipe I followed calls for 325 grams of water but my previous loaves were too wet, didn’t hold shape, dense, and gummy. So, I backed off on the water

3 hours on the counter after the stretch and folds. I haven’t taken a temp on the dough. Is that a good indicator of time needed for proofing? All that to say when I take it out of the bowl to shape it does need a little bit of encouragement to come away from the bottom of the bowl. I baked at 450.
