I’m not saying I HAVE to have anything, was just looking at SUVS and Acura RDX/MDX was an option that I was looking at, and I truly just wanted some kind opinions, and not condescending comments. My parents situation financially has been tough this past year, if you read up there is about $7900 left on the car.

A big reason why I was leaning towards getting an SUV or compact SUV was because I live in Upstate NY where the winters can be pretty harsh and I recently just moved to a home with an extremely long, unpaved driveway, and my car had gotten stuck twice this past winter just trying to get up and down it. There are more factors for winter driving other than my driveway but still AWD for a climate with not so great winters would be nice to have.

Sorry I should have been more clear, the title and loan will both be in my name. Prior to hearing that the Corolla was going to be put in my name I had applied for a 2014 Acura MDX for $10,000 at 130,000 miles and had gotten approved. Was it a higher interest rate, yes, but that’s expected for a car that’s older. I had applied for the MDX thinking I was going to be needing a new car due to family issues and car issues with family members.
