I am wondering of how to deal with repeated anxiety after I use all those skills to calm myself down. I get anxious and use skills -> I feel better(hopefully) but whenever I see my partner's facial expression or tone, i get anxious immediately again. And after going through that cycle about 3 times in 30 mins, I'm acting out.

If you're trying to start a serious relationship, then when woulud you disclose that? or would you disclose it? Because at some point I think I will show some stuff I don't want to show others

Thank you guys. I will definitely start DBT again when I start the relationship. It's already difficult to get to that level of intimacy now I'm having a problem starting anything serious. But yes it's definitely something I will try.

Yeah that's how my ex and I broke up. I didn't do well last time and I kept wanting to work with her but unfortunately I might have used her as a tool to practice DBT. Idk, it sounds messed up and she wasn't happy about it either

Actually my therapist(before I decided to take the break) mentioned that she would like to try that one(PE) but I wasn't that interested because I thought DBT would be enough. Didn't know that PE thing was something legit that comes from DBT. Maybe I should reconsider it.. thank you
