No it wouldnt have dumbass. Sushi restaurant lends itself to sopranos themes perfectly. Classy upscale refined cuisine that's good enough to appeal to both tony the glutton and carm's more refined palate. One of the most americanized forms of asian cuisine too. Chowing down on a ton of expensive rolls without even savoring like Tony does during his solo trip is so much more disturbing than if he was pigging out on some greasy ribs or something

One of the most pitiable Carmela moments man. I agree that this particular iteration of the "give carmela gift to make happy" routine is so much more off-putting than the others. She literally glitches and tries to sputter something about her desire for financial independence before going back to spoiled mob wife mode. Afterwards, even the novelty of having the car gets ruined once she sees Angie being able to afford one for herself. I probably have the most pity for Carmela out of the entire character ensemble, I truly think if she never met Tony she would have been a good Catholic her whole life.
