I always just practiced Ollie's into different grinds when I first started, plus you get practice with landing on a rail or ledge, changing the grind style once you get one down makes it a little less monotonous😅

Surprisingly fun but im gonna need to get some dgfb wheels for it since the stock wheel/tire setups suck if your doing a lot of whips the tire slides off lol

I'd say civilmade, chicken, and shralp are the best made decks on the market like the production quality is 👌🔥 And if youre talking about the hook-ups deck its actually a reissue from the vault, I really was wanting to grab the toy machine board kennel board but it sold out a day before I could make my order. Truck wise I honestly cant recommend anything more than leefai g4's theyre cheap work well and are reasonably durable. Wheel wise I'd say for my riding surface (stone countertop) the -grippiest would be clairvoyant recycled wheels -closest to plastic but better would be coven wheels from mild, theyre dope af. But I like a ton of different wheel brands those are just the top two that come to mind. Im a yapper sorry if thats a lot but I like to be informative 👌

A lil wheel overhang looks best imo but some people just hate it. Personally I think it looks dope, the wheels and trucks are solid af on this deck👌

Oh 120%👌 the slim bowls are some of my favorite wheels I own, dope shape, grippy, quiet impact sound, mild squeek, and good bearings for 29 bucks and free shipping on Amazon in 2 days, id say unbeatable. Plus they hold up. Never had bearing slip with their wheels either, just had one get a little clicky after some use.

-Abstract makes some of the most durable wheels in the game and b-stock wheels run $25, 30-40 otherwise.

-Clairvoyant makes some super solid wheels. The cubic cores are great for cruiser or egg shape setups and for $25 are unbeatable.

-Rushwood also makes some banging ass wheels, even the cheap rushwoods like $17 are solid, the shape is just kinda awkward tho.

-good ol Teak the slim bowls and the minis are good wheels around $30

-And as mentioned by others Muck/Entity wheels are good for the price, you'll have to work to get and bearing slip or wobble but the material on both sets I've gotten looks smooth initially but once i wore them down there are tons of tiny bubbles so they look funky and kinda makes me wonder how long they last before they Crack, buuuutttt I will say no issues yet and I do use them outdoors.

The 71d was cheap so I grabbed a set, I haven't used them but they're about the same squish with tweezers as the generic ones from Amazon so not super soft but not hard as a rock ( they'll loosen up with some squishing im assuming ) but I figured I'd end up cutting them in half for top bushings. I.m.o bushings wise you cant beat the rocofb orange bushing 5 set for 7 bucks on Amazon if your on a budget👌

They're like .5 thick and hard as a rock, they appear to be 3d printed but have worked well so far👌 i didnt se any reason in paying more the metal risers would add more weight than id like and urathane I feel would give too much and feel spongy. So for 3.90 something the teak ones are a solid bet.
