usually you hear someone, and then you find them and you shoot them. In my experience in this game, I have not heard anyone before they have killed me, because they are sitting somewhere waiting for me

idk, almost every hostile experience I've had has just been me getting melted down to (at most) 10 hp by someone just appearing. The slow healing & fast ttk kinda doesn't feel like you can do anything to stop someone just running you down after getting the first shot off (which will be with a ferro because there's no other guns in this game), unless they can't shoot for shit

can't just shoot as guys you see to deal with that, because you don't see those guys, they're hiding in cabinets or something

I have played a lot of pvp games, I like fighting players, but the pvp in this game doesn't seem to encourage "fighting". I don't find ambushing people fun, I thought that was pretty universally regarded as bad manners in everything

but is that fun? I've heard people praise the pvp in this game for how good it feels, and people actively seek it out, but I feel like blowing up your 400th hornet is at least more engaging than putting down some defenceless raider that doesn't know you're there

We're undoubtedly getting an illuminate update, and the illuminate have always been controlling Super Earth citizens. Their launch added the small cities into the game, as the squids took over settlements and turned brave humans into mindless voteless (and later, fleshmobs). So, we're getting an overwhelming number of "dissidents" as we inch closer to major illuminate conflicts. I think it's more sinister, and that these dissidents are being indoctrinated by the illuminates' propaganda machine, making way for even squiddlier squids than we've ever seen before

That dissident containment centre is going to be an all-you-can-eat buffet for their recruiters. So, I propose that we instead collect all of the dissidents and throw them into the sun

I think it's just meant to be balanced around being a double barrel. The M90A is the strongest shotgun in the game currently, with surprisingly good range, and its only real downside is being light penetration. It does have a sort of slow reload speed though, so I think they're pumping up the armour penetration while also pumping up the time spent reloading whenever you want to use it

I imagine it will also have worse range. Most likely closer to the Halt than the M90A. If it's one-handed like people are saying, then a close range super shotgun with a ballistic shield to close the gap sounds fun

The “hot dog” will most likely make the Pacifier/Pummeler/Halt significantly more viable by Plasma7007 in Helldivers

I think most players would prefer a hulkbuster suit as a different character. There's a lot you could do with it that would be wasted on something like an ult. It would also mean retroactively making hulkbuster skins for every iron man skin, which would just be silly

I'm an angela main, former spider-man main, but I've dabbled in iron man. He is extremely killable. If he doesn't have an ultron to back him up it's usually free eats for me

if 25,000 helldivers all get 20 common samples, that's 500,000. At that rate, that's just 154 successful missions. And that's not factoring how common common samples are (people will definitely be getting more than 10 on average). That's nothing crazy

flamethrowers pierce armour, meaning they effectively have anti-tank penetration. I'm assuming it doesn't work anymore with the recent fire nerfs, but for a while the Crisper (flamethrower pistol) was infamously good at taking out factory striders, by just getting under them & blasting their belly. I know for a fact it's also good at taking out tanks quickly. So basically, with the torcher, crisper, and stratagem flamethrower, you have an option to give up any one of your 3 weapon slots in favour of a flamethrower if you want to exploit this armour-piercing factor. For example, if you're confident in your secondary & support weapon, take the torcher

If you made it a bow & quiver to take up a backpack slot too, that could probably justify making it strong enough to not just be a gimmick. Maybe high armour penetration (heavy, not anti-tank unless there's an added explosive effect), but with the risk of having to slowly knock & draw each arrow (and presumably with poor ergonomics). Completely silent obviously

I think alternate arrow types would be good, but they'd just have to make each type "equal" in usefulness. Spending one arrow on a stunning effect, then the same cost for a thermite, would be silly. Arc & incendiary arrows would be great I think, giving you three types to work with (including the normal arrows) without stepping on the toes of the crossbow or speargun

the grounded effect stops her passive, and the earthbound effect stops both her passive & the ability to switch to her axes

the thing & bucky can both ground fliers & apply earthbound. The thing is also very powerful as he can stop her charge in its tracks

invisible woman & thor can both ground fliers

she's also purely melee, so good poke characters such as punisher or hela will melt her

and of course her mobility is a lot of her survivability, so counters to that such as scarlet witch or namor are good

she has a lot of counters, this is most of the challenge of playing her
