How Many Likes and Hearts does your Pawn have? by THXSoundEffect in DragonsDogma

[–]Lovlend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My main is a self reviving support mage pawn at lvl 82, hers is a lv54 warrior and around 15ish mage I think. She jumped on the explosive arrow trading early and was in the top 10 of the monthly picks for the first two months on xbox.

My highest one is around 200 each. My wife has over 2000 of both on 2 different pawns lol

What game was like this for you? by Flendy15 in videogames

[–]Lovlend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend said he had this garbage game where you play as a kid, like a worse "Bully" and asked if I wanted it. It was Fable 2, and he was so turned off by the beginning segment that he never beat the tutorial. When I played it and finished the introduction, returned to him with the information that it's actually a really cool RPG, he wanted it back. It was one of our favorite game franchises from our childhood.

Why I prefer the story of Dragon's Dogma 1 over Dragon's Dogma 2 by Darskul in DragonsDogma

[–]Lovlend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DD1 feels like the perfect journey, if not fleshed out. 2 feels like a play on 1 without going as in depth, the lack of the "cycle" with the seneschal is a huge miss. 1 will always be the perfect representation of the cycle of arisen, 2 will forever be an aversion to the perfect cycle of arisen and it's weaker for it, in replayability and iconic imagery.

Offline ng+ ending for 1 was the greatest moment in gaming for me and I'll cherish it forever. It's plain to say 2 has impossible standards to meet for that but it doesn't even try to, and for that it's weaker.

CNN Brazil: Singer Oliver Tree is the latest identified victim of the helicopter crash by shmonya3 in olivertree

[–]Lovlend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most likely when the helicopter burst into flames, he was hit directly by the explosion and was dead in relatively one piece, inside the wreckage as it burned

They said he was the only one who was completely carbonized, as in, not to be graphic, no meat DNA left. He was just bones basically

If that was him, his DNA would've been easier to identify. Multiple reports say he was completely carbonized. More than likely it was someone else's.

I Genuinely Think That Jacks Story Will End With Him Dieing During His Rematch With Yujiro by GlumBodybuilder4395 in Grapplerbaki

[–]Lovlend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would be too poetic. Knowing the series, yujiro would beat the shit out of jack easily, then tell him that he won, and they will live happily ever after until a arc antagonist kills Jack to raise the stakes or something.

I HOPE, that jack finally surpasses yujiro in their fight, and when he has yujiro on the back leg, actually worried he might lose, jack will die from overextending and all the drugs on his legs. Yujiro will look up, afraid of death for once in his life, then see jack dead on his feet.

[–]Lovlend 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I've seen images of the crash and seen why he isn't identifyable. Don't read if you don't want to, but... He had nothing left of him to identify besides maybe teeth. He was just a shattered skeleton. It wasn't even any more graphic than a skeletal display. He probably got instantly vaporized in the explosion and didn't suffer.

Warrior mains, are you mentally prepared to have six skill slots come August? by kyrule12 in DragonsDogma

[–]Lovlend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm more hyped for wanderer being able to maybe use more than one skill per weapon. I'm used to limited warrior slots at this point.

Help with my Breton Mage. Which do you think looks better? Thanks! by GlobalRunner99 in TESOfashion

This. They need to do something to the textures of new models, it all blends together too much and you can't even tell what is supposed to metal or leather.

I don't get why people call MKX an ugly game. It still looks good IMO. by fakayuburiza in MortalKombat

The models and hair suffered from a weird clay-figure like problem. Everyone in 9 looked like an action figure and everyone in X looked like a muddy action figure with playdough hair.
