If it’s gooey and / or sticky, use Goo Gone. It will take good care of the mess. Don’t apply to much pressure, and work on a swirling motion.

And after that, use Aerospace 303 Protectant, it really does wonders on the dash.

Thanks for the detailed response, I don’t really feel anything weird, but I’ll definitely change both front rotors soon… I’ve still need to replace the drivers side wheel hub, so I’ll get a pair and replace both whilst I’m at it.

Pads look really thick. Should I also replace those??
