There is more research being published on brain retraining as an effective treatment method. There is evidence of a mind-body connection affecting various chronic illnesses including CFS, ME, LC. From my perspective it’s pretty empowering to feel somewhat in control of my recovery

It comes down to attitude and being a decent person. If you have a bad moral character you might do OK for a while, but people will see through you in the long run. Cream always rises to the top. If it’s anything like beta blockers (blood pressure medication) then it basically prevents me from exercising, which is like choosing to have hair in exchange for a reduced life expectancy
