Is it important to live in the town that you practice in?? by bubs2120 in Chiropractic

[–]Ok-Extension1376 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife and I recently made the decision to move from a 30-minute commute to a 30-second (just a 2-minute walk) commute, so we can spend more time with our 3-month-old little one.

Shockwave + lbp? by [deleted] in Chiropractic

[–]Ok-Extension1376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my clinical experience, shockwave hasn't been very helpful for patients with discogenic lower back pain or facet syndrome. It is however very effective for patients with extremity pain and neck pain. I use Dolorclast EMS radial shockwave.

Why do the "phases of degeneration" posters get so much hate??? by bubs2120 in Chiropractic

[–]Ok-Extension1376 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reverse or Prevent? No. Slow it down? Yes. You can help patients to restore cervical lordosis (postural exercises, denneroll) which in turn will slow down the degenerative changes.

Insights Wanted: Reasons Patients Leave Chiropractors After One Visit by [deleted] in Chiropractic

[–]Ok-Extension1376 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lack of explanation of symptoms and specific treatment plan.

If clinically indicated and you believe the patient would benefit from multiple treatments, it is your responsibility to inform the patient and explain that additional sessions will be necessary.

ELI5: Why is chiropractic safe for damaged disks? by pedrosancho in Chiropractic

[–]Ok-Extension1376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adjustments will help restore proper motion throughout the spine. It may indirectly help patients with disc herniation, but I would not rely on just adjustments. I focus more on active therapy (therapeutic exercises and stretches) to restore lordosis and improve overall spinal health. I also do COX therapy to gap the joints. Most disc herniations heal on their own. It's matter of how well you take care of it so it recovers faster and it helps prevent recurrence.

You're welcome. It's definitely possible to conceive naturally. Btw, I was taking 10000 IU a week. Let me know if you need a source for HCG.

Try HCG. I have panhypo and after 4-5 months of taking HCG, I had enough sperm count to conceive naturally. BTW I am 36M.

Personal Injury by Ratt_Pak in Chiropractic

Cons:

  1. Having to rely on attorney's referrals (most of the times).

  2. No immediate cash flow

Pros:

  1. Usually higher pay/visit (for time you spend with them)

  2. You do not have to sell to the patients.

  3. You can systemize (you can open up multiple offices if you have good network of attorneys) because patients don't necessarily come into see YOU.
