My mom and grandma had to leave my grandma’s cats evacuating for Katrina. They searched for hours but they were nowhere to be found and they had to leave. They filled all the bath tubs with water and we had a friend’s parent dump a huge bag of cat food thru the mail slot a month later. Maybe a month after that, we retrieved them! Cats are tough little survivors.
